2. I saw the title and expected a real review. Coitus interuptus when it was just looking at the website.
   I bought the Neato several years ago even though it had lower ratings than Roborock on most websites. I was sold on that D shape. But the whole package wasn’t as good as Roborock and the reviews were right — Roborock was better. And cheaper. Luckily, a friend worked at Neato and it cost me a small fraction of retail price. Will be interesting to see if the D8 — D10 are even on-par with the latest crop of robots from China. I’d wager . . . not.

4. I will only try when noise is very low, else it becomes a decor again. The roller brush in the front and flat front makes edge cleaning good but previous Neato are noisy. In my region the top range is already extremely expensive, 1.7 branded for one Neato. Thus not popular. But I am keen to see how 2020 fairs. Great intro. Thanks

7. The small brush would have to go to the front, so the corners won’t get really clean.
   The same bug as with the D7.

10. So… It’s basically a D7 with a new coat of paint? Where is self cleaning? Where is obstacle avoidance? Where is a tangle free brush?

    If this is the final design, I’m not sure that I like its appearance. I’m a fan of minimalism but the design just looks lazy & unoriginal. It reminds me of their very early robot vacuums like the XV-11 & that’s most certainly *not* a compliment.
    However, I’m hoping that the specs of these new vacuums are at least better than their older models & it may make me change my opinion of the new Neatos

14. See, this is why I watch this man, he gets the robots that are new. I was gunna wait for vacuum wars.. but they post like Friday and Monday I’m not sure

19. I went through five D7’s in about 8 months. They all experienced hardware failure, total junk. Coming back to see if they have anything interesting and……..they do not. Hard pass.
